2026 – Fall Colors are Coming

Storms are over, travel is safe and guests are arriving everday to stay at Waves End and explore the Cabot Trail. The sunsets here are amazing and so are the coming fall colors that will put on a beautiful array of color across Cape Breton. We are open until October 20 and invite you to join us for the beauty of the fall.

Waves End is a Cabot Trail Campground near Cheticamp. We have Ocean View RV sites and Ocean Front Tent Sites. Guests say that our location makes us the ideal home base from which to explore the many attractions Cape Breton has to offer

• We have spacious sites (40’x 32′ & 60 x 32) all of which have an ocean view.

• Ocean front tent sites give you a front row seat to the beach and sunsets.
• FREE Guest showers and dumping station are included in your stay.

• Laundry on-site
• If you are a star gazer, Waves End has no light pollution making it the perfect location to enjoy the beauty of the night sky.
• Sea bass and brown trout are caught right off our beach. Seals are often seen popping up as they feed off shore.
• Nature photographers find a wide variety of subjects to capture from geographical marvels to soaring eagles.
• When in season, fresh crab or lobster can be cooked and delivered to your site. Pleased inquire upon your arrival.

For reservations 7 days or longer, please call Waves End at 902-224-0123 and we can book your reservation for you. You cannot book a stay longer than 7 days, but we can. This allows us to save you booking fees. Prices below.

It is a privilege to meet and share the beauty of Cape Breton with our guests. Come enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility at Waves End; enjoy a relaxing sunset stroll on our scenic beach.

Ask about our fresh crab and lobster offering. When in season, we get the crab or lobster fresh off the boat, cook it for you and deliver it to your trailer.

All our sites have been levelled again this year to add to your comfort and convenience.
